Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest took over Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena for a second night on Friday (Feb. 11), and while the previous night’s headlining sets from Machine Gun Kelly and Halsey were odes to punk rock, night two got a lot more country.
Mickey Guyton kicked off the night, performing songs from her 2021 album, Remember Her Name, before power couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton delivered their own hour-long sets.
In celebration of the genre-spanning evening, we’ve compiled our five favorite moments from the night below. Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest continues on Saturday (Feb. 12) with performances by Miley Cyrus and Green Day. See tickets via Ticketmaster here.
Mickey Guyton’s Sparkling “All American” Performance
Guyton asked the crowd with her characteristic sweetness to “take those lights on your phones out” before her closing song, the Remember Her Name anthem of unity, “All American.” When the arena began to twinkle thanks to the phone flashlights, she called the sight a “dream.”

Blake Shelton’s Hour-Long Comedy Set
Sure, going to a Blake Shelton show means you’ll be getting a healthy dose of country music, but turns out, you’re also signing up for some standup comedy. Between songs, Shelton had the audience bursting into laughter from his rambling thoughts and anecdotes.
“You know, there’s one monumental difference that I can read with this crowd so far between Gwen Stefani, my wife’s show and what I’m trying to do up here and that’s — I mean y’all were singing along, like, loud,” he told the crowd when he took the stage after Stefani. “I mean, I was standing right there, watching the whole damn thing, so don’t be like ‘No, we weren’t!’”
“That’s a lot of pressure for me, and the last thing I need is to wake up tomorrow and to read the damn LA Gazette or whatever newspaper we have here and it says something like, ‘Gwen Stefani Steals the Show.’ That’s going to be awkward for me,” he continued. “If you could just sing along — even if you don’t know my songs! You know, just mouth some words or something. Y’all can tell I’m struggling. I know you can!”
Gwen Stefani Joins Blake Shelton for a Kiss and Duet
Stefani, or “Gwen Shelton” as Blake excitedly called her, joined her husband onstage for a sweet rendition of their duets “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.”
As they wrapped up, Stefani embraced Shelton for an adorable onstage kiss and hug. “Normally, if I do a show and Gwen comes out, we normally do it towards the end because it’s a big deal,” Shelton told the crowd, before revealing, “But Gwen wants to start drinking tequila now. A lot of tequila. So I thought we’d put it towards the beginning so she can get down to business.”

Gwen Stefani Sings “Hollaback Girl”
“This is my jam!” Stefani told the crowd before dancing around the stage to her truly b-a-n-a-n-a-s 2004 hit, “Hollaback Girl.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s Onstage Banter
Even though they performed separately, Shelton and Stefani poked fun at each other on stage throughout the whole night, proving once more that they’re Hollywood’s funniest couple.
“I’m so excited to be slicing Blake Shelton right now,” Stefani joked as her team hurried on stage to fix with a mid-performance wardrobe malfunction. “Obviously, he’s going to have to go on after me which is so, so hard.”
During his set, Shelton agreed. “Who the hell had the idea for me to go on after Gwen Stefani? My God. The rest of the show is going to suck compared to what you just experienced, I’m just saying.”
