Zendaya stars in a new Super Bowl commercial that is narrated by (and features a brief appearance from) Outkast rapper André 3000. It’s an advertisement for Squarespace and it’s directed by Edgar Wright. The ad is built around the tongue twister “Sally sold seashells by the seashore.” Find the commercial (and an extended version) below.
In a statement, Zendaya remarked, “I was incredibly excited to have the opportunity to work and create with Edgar Wright on a story narrated by André ‘3000’ Benjamin.”
Super Bowl LVI takes place this Sunday, February 13, at Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium. The halftime show will feature Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
André 3000 made a rare guest appearance last year on the Kanye West song “Life of the Party.” He is set to appear in Noah Baumbach’s forthcoming film adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel White Noise.
Euphoria, starring Zendaya, is in the midst of its second season on HBO. Read Alphonse Pierre’s “The Euphoria Teens’ Taste in Rap Is Ridiculous” on the Pitch.
