Questlove Nominated for Best Original Documentary at 2022 Oscars

Questlove is among this year’s Oscar nominees in the Documentary Feature category. The Roots drummer is recognized for his directorial debut Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised). See the full list of Documentary Feature nominees below.

The 2022 Best Documentary Feature shortlist included Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry and Todd Haynes’ The Velvet Underground. Those films did not get nominated in the end.
