After a long two-year wait for fans of the show, Better Call Saul is finally returning this year for its final season, and a new teaser from AMC potentially hints at its premiere date.
Featured above, the short clip shows the dreaded Salamanca twins walking through a crime scene where investigators are gathering evidence. On the ground, we see two labels with the letters “D” and “R” in the foreground, possibly hinting at the sixth season’s release date: “D” being the fourth letter in the alphabet representing April and “R” being 18th. The date also happens to land on a Monday, which is when AMC usually broadcasts new episodes of Better Call Saul, so there’s a good chance the hint isn’t just a coincidence.
As expected, Bob Odenkirk will be reprising his role as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman alongside his partner Kim Wexler, portrayed by Rhea Seehorn. Michael Mando, Johnathan Banks and Giancarlo Esposito will return as Nacho, Mike and Gus Fring.
For fans of the Breaking Bad spin-off, stay tuned for more updates and trailers to come.
