Kendrick Lamar has been announced to join a star-studded lineup that includes Dr. Dre., Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Mary J. Blige for the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show.
While the DAMN artist has remained lowkey in the past few years, fans are eagerly awaiting potential new music from Lamar. In the past few years, rumors have been floating around regarding when he will release his next project, his final TDE album. On a new website titled Oklama, the CEO and founder of Top Dawg Entertainment, Anthony Tiffith responded to Lamar’s previous message on social media that he will be making one final TDE album, “With this being Dot’s last album on TDE, this is more of a VICTORY LAP, a celebration. I know he will be successful in whatever it is he decides to do and will have our FULL support.” There is currently no official release date for this album nor news on who is featured and the progress so far.
Though that is the case, Billboard recently confirmed that sources have told the publication that it is possible for Kendrick Lamar to release a new single either on February 4 or 11, right before the artist is slated to perform on the Super Bowl stage.
In other music news, Sol Blume 2022 music festival has announced that Jorja Smith, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jhené Aiko are headlining.
