‘Call of Duty’s’ Next 3 Games Will Reportedly Be Available on PlayStation

PlayStation owners will still be able to play the next three Call of Duty games, according to a new report from Bloomberg. Last week, Microsoft announced its nearly $70 billion USD acquisition of Activision Blizzard, leaving gamers wondering if future games would be exclusive to Xbox.

On January 20, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer announced his intent to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.

“Had good calls this week with leaders at Sony,” Spencer wrote in a tweet. “I confirmed our intent to honor all existing agreements upon acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. Sony is an important part of our industry, and we value our relationship.”

Activision had already planned to release the next few Call of Duty titles on the console, according to Bloomberg. The three games will reportedly include a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare that’s slated for release this year, a new game from Treyarch and a sequel to Warzone.

In other gaming news, Palworld has delivered a wild open-world survival game.
