YoungBoy Never Broke Again has officially released his newest project, Colors.
Clocking in at approximately an hour, the 20-track mixtape features only one guest appearance from Quando Rondo on “Gangsta” and includes the previously-released single “Fish Scale.” Colors follows YoungBoy’s collaborative record From the Bayou with Birdman, which dropped just last month, and is his first solo project since September 2021’s Sincerely, Kentrell.
In early December 2021, YoungBoy stated that he wanted to quit music. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” he told DJ Akademiks during a Clubhouse conversation. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.” There is currently no official word about his retirement, however.
