New music from 21 Savage could be on its way.
The i am > i was artist took to social media to tease the possibility, quoting a tweet from Billboard stating that 21 is one of the artists with the most amount of entries on this year’s Billboard Hot 100 so far. “No album in a year and a half tho…it’s time,” he tweeted.
The 29-year-old rapper’s last full-length release was Savage Mode II with Metro Boomin, which they released in October 2020. The 15-track record followed their collaborative 2016 album and featured guest appearances from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy, and went on to debut at No. 1. Meanwhile, 21’s last solo release dates back to 2018’s i am > i was, which received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album and a Best Rap Song win for “a lot” with J. Cole.
Take a look at the tweet below and stay tuned for more info on 21 Savage’s new material.
