Hatchie has announced her new album. The latest full-length from Harriette Pilbeam is Giving the World Away and it arrives April 22 via Secretly Canadian. She’s also shared the Nathan Castiel–directed video for her new single “Quicksand.” The track is co-written Olivia Rodrigo collaborator Dan Nigro and produced by Jorge Elbrecht. Watch the video, and find Hatchie’s upcoming tour dates, below.
Giving the World Away is the follow-up to 2019’s Keepsake. “I’m capable of writing more than just nice dream-pop songs, and there’s more to me than just writing songs about being in love or being heartbroken—there’s a bigger picture than that,” Pilbeam said in a statement. “This album really just feels like the beginning to me, and scratching the surface—and even though it’s my third release as Hatchie, I feel like I’m rebooting from scratch.”
