Disney+ has given fans of the early 2000s comedy The Proud Family another preview of its upcoming reboot with a new trailer.
Revived after more than fifteen years, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder montage sees the beloved family make their return, picking up right where the original left off.
The trailer highlights Penny’s relationship with her overprotective father Oscar as she begins dating and attempts to be more independent. It features the original cast, alongside a few celebrity guests. Keke Palmer, Billy Porter and Zachary Quinto are among the stars that have been given recurring roles in the show’s reboot.
The Proud Family debuted in 2001, following the life of 14-year-old Penny Proud and her close-knit family. It ran until 2005 and wrapped up with a TV movie.
Viewers can stream the original Proud Family series on Disney+ now while awaiting the Louder and Prouder reboot, which will air on February 23.
