Kojima Productions is finally releasing Death Stranding: Director’s Cut for the PC this 2022.
Hideo Kojima‘s famed video game company announced the news on social media, confirming that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will be available via Steam and the Epic Games store by Spring 2022. “This is the definitive #DeathStranding experience, and will incorporate Intel’s new XeSS graphics technology,” the tweet further read. Reports state that Intel’s new graphics technology will possibly improve “performance, graphical fidelity and frame rates,” and those looking to play on ultra-wide monitors will be supported.
Death Stranding: Director’s Cut was first released for the PlayStation 5 in September 2021. Developers promised “more weapons, equipment and vehicles, a variety of new modes, missions and areas to explore, expanded storylines, and enhancements to the UI.”
Kojima himself recently announced that he is starting work on a “radical project,” but did not specify where it was a video game or a title for Kojima Productions’ newest film, TV and music division.
