Lifetime and A&E have unveiled the full trailer for Janet, the upcoming two-part documentary about the renowned musical artist, Janet Jackson.

The over three-minute trailer features a first look at the interview segments that feature heavy-hitters like Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Samuel L. Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Janelle Monae, Ciara, Teyana Taylor, Regina King, Tyler Perry and more. Janet has been in the works for five years and covers the multidimensional life and career of the famed artist who has always been notoriously private. Specifically, the trailer includes snippets of discussion about Jackson emerging as an artist, Joe Jackson’s control of her career, the relationship with her late brother Michael Jackson, the Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction and more.
Additionally, the documentary features never-before-seen footage from the artist’s life. Janet Jackson and her brother Randy Jackson served as executive producers for the film.
