LeBron James Talks Playing With Son Bronny in the NBA One Day

LeBron James has often been vocal about his goal to one day play in the NBA at the same time as his oldest son, LeBron “Bronny” James, Jr.

After watching his son and his team Sierra Canyon High School defeat his alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s at The Chosen-1’s Invitational hosted at Staples Center over the weekend, Los Angeles Lakers star guard revealed to reporters that he “absolutely” thinks about playing in the league with Bronny. However, he has also acknowledged that it will be quite a while away before that dream will come to fruition. At the game, Bronny scored 19 points, leading his team to a 71-53 victory.

In a post-game interview, James was heard discussing Bronny’s dream to play in the NBA, “He has my support and my blueprint. With health and a little bit of luck, that would be the ultimate thing.” James himself is currently in his 19th season in the NBA and is set to turn 37 on December 30. Should he want to play with his son in the NBA, he would likely be playing well into his 40s.
