As the world continues to process the untimely passing of Virgil Abloh, Kanye West dedicated the latest installment of his Sunday Service series to his close friend.
Shortly after an official announcement that Virgil had lost his private two-year battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare aggressive form of cancer, Ye brought the Sunday Service Choir together to honor the late cultural icon. Ye then shared a livestream to the moving performance dedicated to Virgil Abloh. Included in the somber medley was a take on Adele‘s “Easy On Me,” followed by a message that read, “IN LOVING MEMORY OF VIRGIL ABLOH, THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF DONDA.”
