Nigerian pop star Rema has gone on a rant calling out DJ Neptune for breaching his music rights.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Mavin Records artiste Rema went on a Twitter rant as he surprisingly called out DJ Neptune for publishing his song without notice.
Rema in a series of tweets expressed his displeasure with the fact that DJ Neptune placed a song they made together on his album without prior notice and clearance.
These are a few of his tweets tagging the DJ in question.
“With all due respect chief! Dropped my old record without due process?!! I’m not happy at all.
@deejayneptune”.
“Don’t violate the codes, can’t drop my song without my notice, can’t even remember the last time we spoke big bro, I pleaded with my manager behind the scenes when y’all tagged me before it dropped, y’all still went ahead! c’mon nau!”
Earlier today, DJ Neptune dropped his sophomore album “Greatness 2.0” to a fanfare. The project has 16 songs including big names like Rema who featured on a track “For You“
