Nigerian music icon Wizkid and his collaborator Tems have just bagged nominations for the 64th Grammy awards.
Big news for fans of Wizkid and the Starboy himself as he secured two nominations for the forthcoming Grammy awards 2022. Wizkid alongside Tems was nominated in the “Best Global Music Performance” category. The “Essence” crooner and his collaborator were not the only Nigerians to bag a Grammy nod this year.
Femi Kuti and his son Made Kuti was also nominated for the 2022 Grammy awards in the “Best Global Music Album” category for their joint album “LEGACY +”.
Wizkid and Femi Kuti were nominated both in the “Best Global Music Performance” and “Best Global Music Album”.
Burna Boy got another Grammy nomination this year as for his contribution to Angelique Kidjo’s song “Do Yourself”.
