Drake and Future’s “Life Is Good” Officially Goes Diamond

Drake and Future’s “Life Is Good” Officially Goes Diamond

Drake and Future‘s “Life Is Good” has officially been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The certification means that the single, which is featured on Future’s High Off Life, has sold 10,000,000 units since its release in January 2020. Future’s manager Dwight Elder took to Instagram to show the rapper celebrating the feat with the plaque, which also happened to take place during his 38th birthday.

“Life Is Good” features production from the late D. Hill, OZ and Ambezza, and went on to hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its accompanying music video, helmed by Director X, showed Drizzy and Future working a series of regular jobs such as fast food workers, mechanics, IT workers, off-brand Apple Store employees, garbage men, chefs, amateur rappers and assistant directors.

The pair recently reunited for the collab “Way 2 Sexy,” which appeared on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy; “Way 2 Sexy” is now Future’s highest-charting song overall, overtaking “Life Is Good.”

Elsewhere in music, the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, which features performances from Kanye West and Drake, is set to take place in December.
