Hakim Ziyech is seeking a move away from Chelsea this January transfer window, according to reports.
It is said that the Blues are also willing to let the Morocco international leave Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old joined the Londoners in 2020 from Ajax in a deal worth around €40 million.
His stint at the Johan Cruyff Arena was highly impressive, where he even reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2019.
However, the attacking midfielder failed to make the same impact after he moved to the Premier League last year.
He contributed only four assists and six goals in 39 total appearances for the Pensioners last season, with the Moroccan also missing plenty of games due to injuries.
Now the 2021-22 campaign isn’t going very well either for the 28-year-old who has made ten appearances across all competitions so far, scoring two goals and an assist in the process.
Ziyech had a big opportunity to impress his manager Thomas Tuchel who featured him after Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic were all sidelined due to injuries.
However, he wasn’t very convincing with his performances, and now his first-team opportunities don’t look very great.
According to a report from 90MIN, the Morocco international and his representatives are pushing for a move away from Chelsea in January.
Hakim Ziyech started his senior career at Dutch side Heerenveen before joining Twente two years later.
The talented attacking midfielder landed a move to Ajax in 2016 in a deal worth around €11m.
He clocked up 165 appearances across all competitions for the Dutch giants between 2016 and 2020, scoring 49 goals and creating 81 assists in the process.
