Marvel Studios has aired a teaser for its new show She-Hulk as a part of Disney+ Day.
Arriving on the streaming service in 2022, the series stars Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who acquires a milder, Hulk-like condition after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner.
“I’m Jennifer Walters. I’m a normal lawyer,” Maslany announces in a voiceover, seconds before a green-hued version of herself steps into the frame.
Alongside Maslany, Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Banner/the Hulk.
From the 20-second clip, it seems that he’ll be coaching his cousin through her new condition. A brief scene cut shows Banner explaining to Walters how the human-to-Hulk are triggered.
Jameela Jamil is signed on to play the supervillain Titania. Tim Roth of The Incredible Hulk will return to his role as another Hulk-like character called the Abomination.
The first season of She-Hulk will debut as ten 30-minute episodes, directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia.
In other entertainment news, the director of the Kenobi series on Disney+ says it will mark a “dark time” for the Jedi master.
