Shortly after the premiere of Arcane on Netflix, Riot Games is now expanding on its partnership with the streaming platform’s gaming division with a new League of Legends spin-off called Hextech Mayhem.
Created by Riot Forge and Bit.Trip developer Choice Provisions, the new rhythm runner is based in League of Legends‘ Piltover, where you’ll dash through the city as Ziggs, causing chaos among its streets. The goal is to perform bomb-jumps and bomb attacks while avoiding obstacles, enemies and Heimerdinger himself, all in time with the music to cause as much destruction as possible. As the trailer above shows, Hextech Mayhem‘s levels all carry vibrant and creative layouts to create a truly enjoyable platformer for fans of Runeterra.
For those interested, Hextech Mayhem will be available via Netflix Games as well as the Nintendo Switch and PC on November 16.
Elsewhere in gaming, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has explained why the studio chose to work on Starfield before Elder Scrolls VI.
