Liverpool are interested to sign Harvey Barnes who is currently on the books of Leicester City, according to reports.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a huge admirer of the 23-year-old who made his England debut last year in October against Wales.
According to Fichajes, the Merseyside club will try to secure the signature of the exciting player ahead of the 2022-23 season.
They want to bring the talented winger to Anfield to replace Sadio Mane in the future.
The 23-year-old has been an important figure for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season. He has made 12 appearances across all competitions for the Foxes this campaign, scoring two goals and creating two assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
His current contract at the King Power Stadium is set to expire in the summer 0f 2025, having penned a long-term deal earlier this August.
Harvey Barnes is an academy graduate of Leicester City who earned his senior debut in December 2016 in the Champions League match against Porto.
He has been sent on loan spells to MK Dons, Barnsley and West Bromwich Albion during his time at the East Midlands outfit.
So far, he has made 111 total appearances for Leicester City, smashing 23 goals and creating 17 assists in the process.
Barnes is a hugely talented player who can make a big impact at Liverpool if they manage to secure his signature.
