Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Debuts the Trailer for ‘Injustice’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the trailer for Injustice — a new animated series that’s based off of the NetherRealm Studios video game ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ and the DC graphic novel Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One by Tom Taylor.

The new teaser totals out to just over one minute and shows various scenes involving The Joker, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more. It opens up with the Joker and Harley Quinn ambushing a pregnant Lois Lane, the latter of which strikes her head with a giant mallet and knocks her out cold. Later on in the clip, we find that Lane dies from this altercation, and this causes Superman — who’s played by Justin Hartley — to spiral out and attempt to take charge of the planet. In response to this, Batman — played by Anson Mount — takes it upon himself to rebel and overthrow Superman from his dictatorship.

Other characters to call out include that of Janet Varney who plays Wonder Woman, Gillian Jacobs who stars as Harley Quinn, Kevin Pollak who takes the Joker role, Brian T. Delaney who channels the Green Lantern and more.

Mark your calendars as Injustice is slated to release on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and Digital come October 19.

In other news, One Piece has released a “Twilight” MV for a live-action mini series We Are One.
