LEGO and Star Wars have once again teamed up for another video game, this time dropping exclusively on Apple Arcade.
Titled LEGO Star Wars Battles, the new game will offer a real-time strategy experience for those gaming on Apple devices, taking on 1v1 battles against other players in a struggle to contest map control by building LEGO towers that can attack, defend and capture territory. To help you on your conquest, you’ll have access to some of Star Wars‘ most iconic characters, including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Boba Fett, which more to unlock as you progress through. There’ll also be a whole host of weapons and vehicles for you to customize your army loadout, such as porgs, stormtroopers, battle droids, AT-ATs, and TIE bombers, and even the Millennium Falcon itself. As you play through the levels, you’ll venture into new but familiar territories too, ranging from Scarif and Naboo to Hoth, Endor, Geonosis and more.
“Our team has been working to bring mobile players a new and wholly original LEGO Star Wars experience, exclusively on Apple Arcade,” said Jason Avent, studio head at TT Games Brighton. “LEGO Star Wars Battles blends real-time multiplayer matches, striking visuals and the charm of LEGO Star Wars in fun, fast-paced gameplay.”
There’s currently no official release date for LEGO Star Wars Battles, but fans can learn more over on the game’s website.
Elsewhere in gaming, Halo esports is returning thanks to the upcoming release of Halo Infinite.
