HBO and HBO Max have officially announced its Fall 2021 programming slate, confirming that its beloved shows like Succession and Curb Your Enthusiasm are both set to return this October.
The upcoming third season of Succession, which HYPEBEAST named as one of the TV shows to watch this year, will see the return of the notorious Roy family after a jaw-dropping season two finale. “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy begins Season 3 in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war,” the official synopsis read. Fans can expect the return of the main cast — Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Peter Friedman, J. Smith Cameron, Dagmara Dominczyk and Justine Lupe — as well as the additions of Alexander Skarsgård, Adrien Brody and more.
Meanwhile, Larry David‘s Curb Your Enthusiasm will premiere its 11th season after just a little over a year — a huge improvement compared to its 10th season, which was released a lengthy three years after its predecessor. Joining LD as always are Susie Essman, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines and J.B. Smoove, with its next season promising more tongue-in-cheek comedy of the Seinfeld co-creator’s fictionalized life.
