Machine Gun Kelly on Monday announced his next album’s title via a matching tattoo with the record’s executive producer Travis Barker.
The pair showed off the new ink, which reads “born with horns” on their left forearms, in a video posted to MGK’s Instagram. “born with horns the album,” the “Blonde Don” captioned the post. “we’re back for round two.”
born with horns will be MGK’s sixth studio album, following 2020’s Barker-produced Tickets to My Downfall, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts in October and fully cemented his pivot into the pop-punk genre.
Last week, MGK teased the first single off of born with horns in a video posted to Instagram, in which he sings along to a short clip of the upcoming song while wearing a pink cheetah sweater on the road. “signed a deal, i got papercuts,” he wrote in the caption, referencing the track’s newly-revealed lyrics.
The music video for the single, directed by Cole Bennett, will be released on Wednesday, August 11 at midnight ET.
MGK has not yet revealed the tracklist or release date for born with horns.
In another music announcement, Cardi B will feature on Lizzo’s new track “Rumors.”
