Skepta Enlists Kid Cudi, J Balvin and Teezee for EP ‘All In’

Skepta Enlists Kid Cudi, J Balvin and Teezee for EP ‘All In’

Skepta has dropped off his brand new EP All In, named after his newfound love for the game of poker.

Clocking in at 15 minutes, the five-track project is largely produced by Skepta alongside JAE5, Ragz Originale and Josh Faulkner, and includes guest appearances from Kid Cudi and Teezee on “Peace of Mind” and J Balvin on “Nirvana,” the latter of which arrives with an accompanying music video helmed by KLVDR. The visual stars the two collaborators who pay homage to Narcos, The Godfather and Get Out with a dark, stylized elegance.

In a statement, Skepta shared that he worked on the project before lockdown but waited for the right moment to release them, and with live shows scheduled for 2021, he felt like it was time. “This music isn’t for people to download and discuss. It’s music to feel when I perform it live, music for people to celebrate with their friends,” he said in a statement.

All In marks Skepta’s first solo release since 2019’s Ignorance is Bliss, which was largely produced by the grime MC himself and featured contributions from Nafe Smallz, Key!, J Hus, Cheb Rabi, B Live, Lancey Foux, Lay-Z, Wizkid and Boy Better Know.

Stream Skepta’s All In on Spotify and Apple Music, and watch the “Nirvana” visual with J Balvin above.

Elsewhere in music, Nas has announced the release date of King’s Disease II.
