Lovers & Friends Festival has unveiled its packed 2022 lineup, which exudes ’90s and 2000s nostalgia. Presented by Live Nation, Snoop Dogg and Bobby Dee, the festival takes place Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
The festival packs in some heavy-hitting acts, including Lauryn Hill, Usher, Ludacris, TLC, Ciara, Lil Jon, Brandy, Monica, Lil Kim and more. The festival was originally slated to make its debut in 2020 on two separate occasions. The original date was May 9, 2020, before being rescheduled to August 8, 2020, due to the pandemic. However, the festival was rescheduled again and will finally make its debut next year.
Even though the festival was met with a lot of excitement, it also had its fair share of controversy. After the festival’s original announcement in 2019, which came out of thin air, Lil Kim stated that she was not a part of the festival even though her name appeared on the artist lineup. As such, fans began to wonder if the lineup and festival were real, hoping to avoid another Fyre festival-like dilemma.
The festival is officially back with a bigger lineup and venue than previously announced. Registration for first access to tickets is now available with presale beginning Monday, August 2 at 10 a.m. PST (7 a.m. EDT). Presale access and information about ticket packages and prices can be found on the festival website.
