This Is the Final Bugatti Divo

This Is the Final Bugatti Divo

Bugatti is done with the Divo as the final model has been produced for one very lucky Chiron-owning customer in Europe.

The Divo is a limited-to-40-run coachbuilt hypercar based on the Chiron and was only available to those who bought the Chiron. With a base price of almost $5.9m USD, the Divo was Bugatti’s most expensive car on offer in 2018, but of course most of the coachbuilt cars were completely customized and personalized to the customer’s taste meaning the final price is likely to be much more than the base cost.

This particular example — number 40 of 40 — is a nod to the marque’s history. Finished in “Bugatti EB 110 LM Blue” with blue carbon fiber components, the Divo pays homage to Bugatti’s last official Le Mans factory race car and also acknowledges the contemporary efforts made by Bugatti. Inside, you’ll find a cabin predominantly focused on “French Racing Blue” and “Deep Blue” alongside matte gray carbon components, once more combing the past with the present.

No matter how you spec the Divo, it will always look like an elevated Chiron (because that’s all it really is). It was given a far sportier design harnessed with lots of new air intakes and LED boomerang lights that cut through the body to make it look like it’s moving even when standstill. At the rear you’ll find a complex matrix of 3D lights and a new exhaust set-up, with the later delivering the quintessential Bugatti sound derived from the iconic 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces 1,500 HP.

In other news, a Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR Strassenversion is up for auction, and it could fetch up to $10m USD.
