Goldin Auctions has recently sold a Pristine 10 condition 2003-04 Signature Edition “Inkredible Inkscriptions” LeBron James Signed Rookie Card. The signature was also given a virtually perfect rating. However, what makes this card even more special is that the athlete added an almost never-before-seen inscription next to his signature, writing “#1 Draft Pick”. Aside of the near-perfect signature quality and an out-of-ordinary phrase signed on the front, the card is also a limited-edition piece.
The card in question is serial-numbered as “02/25” meaning that there are only 25 of these cards floating in existence. The autographed LeBron James rookie card was sold for $185,730 USD.
