Fans have discovered snippets of new music from the late Pop Smoke via posters plastered in New York City and Los Angeles.
Those who come across the promotional materials just need to open their SnapChat app and point the camera towards the poster. Several tweets have shown that the poster will automatically begin playing unreleased tracks from Pop Smoke that are accompanied by monochromatic visuals of the artists performing on stage, working in the studio and more. The visual ends with a date that reads July 16.
Steven Victor of Victor Victor Worldwide also took to social media to confirm the date, adding that the album could be called FAITH instead of the previously-rumored eponymous title.
The upcoming posthumous album will feature a total of 17 tracks with the finale, entitled “Outro,” previously teased via Apple Music. Not a lot is known about the record, however Dua Lipa recently teased that she could be appearing on the album. The British artist shared an old video of Pop Smoke on Instagram that showed him listening to her track “One Kiss,” writing the caption, “YOU CAN’T SAY POP WITHOUT SMOKE – 16 JULY.”
