Nigerian Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy has dismissed the perceived competition between him and Wizkid.
The singer said both of them are on different lanes and there’s no basis for comparisons even as fans have heightened the competition in recent times.
Burna Boy said this via his Instagram page on Thursday as he added that Wizkid sings about women while he sings about real life issues and the only connection between them is there love and origin.
You would recall that Burna Boy and his counterpart Wizkid, both won the Grammy Award the same time but while Burna won the awards on his own music project, Big Wiz won the awards for featuring in Beyonce’s song.
The duo were also nominated for the BET Awards where Burna Boy beat Wizkid to it to win the award three times in a row making him the first Nigerian to achieve that. Wizkid had won same award twice and was nominated for the third.
