Kylian Mbappe has been advised to leave Paris Saint-Germain by Nicolas Anelka amidst recent links with Liverpool.
That’s if he has any ambition to win the Ballon d’Or according to former Real Madrid, PSG and Arsenal striker.
The 22-year-old superstar experienced agony at EURO 2020, missing the deciding penalty in France’s last 16 tie against Switzerland.
The Frenchman is very strong mentally, however, and he will surely bounce back with a bang next season.
In order to do that though, he needs to leave PSG according to Nicolas Anelka.
The Frenchman wrote a column for the Athletic, and urged Mbappe to leave PSG, if he wants to win the Ballon d’Or one day.

Mbappe earns a whopping £403k-a-week at the Parc des Princes (Salary Sport).
That is more than double what Liverpool’s two top highest-paid players currently earn (Spotrac).
The PSG superstar is undoubtedly one of the world’s best players…the best player on the planet many people would say.
He would be a sensational addition for Liverpool. Any move to prise him away from Paris would surely involve astronomical figures, however. AS suggest that £90 million is the absolute minimum that the Ligue 1 giants would consider selling him for. There are big doubts as to whether Liverpool could afford that kind of fee.
And much will depend on whether Jurgen Klopp really pushes FSG for this one to happen.
Mbappe joining Liverpool would make them instant favourites for the Premier League title. If he rocks up at Anfield this summer, there would be a huge buzz of excitement on Merseyside.
He scored 42 goals in 46 games for PSG last season. Those kind of numbers would transform any team in world football overnight.
Anelka thinks he needs to leave PSG. Whether the 22-year-old sees himself playing in front of the Kop next season, however, remains to be seen.
