Beside putting himself in the picture for “dad of the year,” Drake is preparing to release new music.
The Toronto rapper recently shared an update on the release date for his delayed next album, Certified Lover Boy.
During an interview at the Ultimate Rap League’s N.O.M.E. XI battle rap event, Drake confirmed that the full-length LP drop before the end of summer, but he didn’t give out a specific date.
Certified Lover Boy, Drake’s sixth album, was originally scheduled for release in January, but was pushed back due to his rehab from surgery.
To tide fans over, Billboard’s Artist of the Decade shared the three-song Scary Hours 2 project in March, featuring guest appearances by Lil Baby and Rick Ross.
Drizzy also guested with Lil Wayne on Nicki Minaj’s “Seeing Green,” which appeared on the 2021 rerelease of her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty.
