Mavins Record CEO and award winning music executive, Don Jazzy has named Wizkid as the African Artist of the Decade.
With so many talents springing up to add to the already existing lists of Nigerian music acts and African music super stars, it becomes a tough call to name one.
However, Don Jazzy never stuttered with his choice as he had quickly mentioned Wizkid when asked who’s the African Artist of the Decade.
This is coming on the heels of Drake’s award by Billboard as the Global Artists of the Decade.
So Nigerians decided to bring it back home and do a poll to name the African Artists of the Decade and Don Jazzy decided on “Wiz”.
Having a crop of stars in his team already, this is coming as a surprise to many but he’s named his choice and it is what it is.
