The Knockouts are in full swing on NBC’s The Voice, and the quality of contestants on show are creating headaches for the coaches.
Kelly Clarkson found that out the hard way on Monday night (April 19), when Corey Ward performed her very own song “Already Gone,” from 2009, against Ryleigh Modig, who covered Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody,” from 2008.
When he wrapped up, Ward earned a standing ovation from John Legend, who bellowed “beautiful,” while Clarkson could be heard remarking, “he killed my song, that’s fine.”
