Los Rabanes celebrates 25-year trajectory
Panamanian rock band Los Rabanes is celebrating their 25-year trajectory with the release of their album 25 (Live). On the 16-songs set, the reggae-rock group relives some of their biggest hits including “Bam Bam,” “Señorita A Mi Me Gusta Su Style,” and “My Commanding Wife.” They are also joined by some of their ’90s rock colleagues such as La Ley’s Beto Cuevas, Los Pericos and Las Mosca Tse Tse, to name a few.
As for what’s the band’s secret to staying together for over two decades? Vocalist Emilio Regueira says brotherhood and communication are key. “Most groups fight a lot and when success comes, everything breaks. Rabanes has had arguments and fights over things that really don’t matter today,” he previously told Billboard. “We decided to start a family and walk the same journey. If we have problems, we talk about it.”
