The nominations for the 2021 Juno Awards will be announced at 11:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday (March 9). The 50th annual awards honoring the best and brightest in Canadian music will be revealed on CBC Music platforms, including the CBC Music YouTube page.
Last year’s event included wins for Avril Lavigne (fan choice), Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello (single of the year, “Señorita”), Billie Eilish (international album of the year, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), Alessia Cara (album of the year, The Pains of Growing, songwriter of the year and pop album of the year), Mendes (artist of the year), Loud Luxury (group of the year), Lennon Stella (breakthrough artist of the year), Neon Dreams (breakthrough group of the year), Meghan Patrick (country album of the year), Tory Lanez (rap recording of the year), Felix Cartel & Lights (dance recording of the year), Jessie Reyez, Lanez and Tainy (R&B/soul recording of the year), PUP (alternative album of the year) and The Glorious Sons (rock album of the year).
