The dream of the ‘90s will be alive in the Caribbean in 2025, thanks to The ‘90s Cruise, a five-day voyage that’ll feature musical performances by some of the decade’s signature acts, like Blues Traveler, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Everclear, and more.
Setting sail from Tampa, Florida, on January 31st, 2025, the cruise will jet across the Gulf of Mexico to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico, ending its embankment on February 5th. Throughout the trek, guests will be treated to the “freshest party celebrating the dopest decade ever,” hosted by Lisa Loeb and MTV’s Downtown Julie Brown and Matt Pinfield. Joining the headliners will be Lit, Color Me Badd, Fastball, C+C Music Factory, Jesus Jones, Digital Underground, and Sophie B. Hawkins.
The ‘90s Cruise will be hosted on Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas ship, and cabin prices start at $1470 per person. According to the press release, the package will include all performances, parties, and events on the cruise, as well as meals in select dining venues. “We’re bringing everything we love about the ‘90s together all in one place on The ‘90s Cruise,” said Chris Hearing, Executive Director of Entertainment Cruise Productions. “Bands that play our favorite songs will perform every day and night and then hang out during meet and greets, they’ll do live Q&As and so much more. We’ll have parties with throwback ‘90s themes and are decking out the ship with all the ‘90s essentials.”
Amazingly, The ‘90s Cruise isn’t the only ‘90s-themed cruise coming up, thanks to the Summer of ‘99 Cruise, which’ll give fans a chance to hit the seas alongside Creed, 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, and more next year. Appropriately, Pinfield will be hosting those voyages as well.
