Unless you live somewhere unseasonably warm, the thing about winter is that you can’t just wear any fancy outfit. Bare legs, arms, or toes are usually not a great idea unless you like shivering. You may be able to throw on anything and go in the summer, but dressy winter outfits require a little more forethought (and layers).
I don’t know about you but I’m very fond of wearing jeans for fancy occasions in the winter, as they’re warm and they’re easy to style.
