Gloria Estefan on Being Supportive of Her Daughter Emily 

In the latest Red Table Talk: The Estefans, Gloria Estefan opened up about coming to terms with her daughter Emily’s sexuality. The Latin icon confesses she “had no clue” that her daughter was gay but was “suspicious” at times. “I remember being in my bedroom and telling you, ‘Mama, are you gay?'” she says in the clip below. “‘Do you want to carry the gay flag, because if you want I will get on that parade float and I will carry that flag?'”

Ivy Queen Joins Bad Bunny & Nesi On New “Yo Perreo Sola” Remix

Following Bad Bunny’s epic Billboard Music Awards performance of “Yo Perreo Sola” alongside Ivy Queen and Nesi on Oct. 14, the chart-topping artist released the remix of the hit song featuring the queen herself. The girl-power collab unites up-and-coming reggaetón artist Nesi with the reggaetón icon who has thrived in a male-dominated genre. “Thank you Bad Bunny,” posted Ivy Queen on social media. “I’m proud that a male artist with an enormous platform like yours uses is it to fight for women. That makes you even bigger. Love you!”

Latin Music Week’s Full Schedule 

Billboard’s virtual Latin Music Week is set to take place from Oct. 20-23 with can’t-miss panels, Q&As and showcases scheduled throughout the week. Starting off with a bang, the first panel on Tuesday, Oct. 20 is “Music, Cars and Movies” with Anuel AA and Jamie Foxx and Billboard‘s Carl Lamarre, hip-hop editor, as moderator. The first day will wrap up with a performance by Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo. Wednesday, Oct. 21 will start with the highly-anticipated Q&A featuring Jennifer Lopez and Maluma with Leila Cobo, VP/Latin Industry Lead of Billboard.
