SL View: Superb bit of business on a free transfer
Young can play as a full-back on both sides of the pitch and he could be a very useful addition to the side on a free transfer.
The former Villa winger knows the club well and he should have no problems adapting. He could make an immediate impact next season.
The 35-year-old is set to be the replacement for the likes of Ahmed Elmohamady and Neil Taylor who have recently left the club.
Young helped Inter Milan win the Italian league title this past season and his experience could be invaluable to the villa dressing room.
Meanwhile, Burnley will be disappointed to have missed out on the experienced full-back after offering him a one year deal with the option for further 12 months.
Inter Milan wanted to keep the 35-year-old at the club as well but Young is thought to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
