Savage Mode collaborators 21 Savage and Metro Boomin could be cooking up a new project.
Taking to Twitter to tease fans, Boomin first responded with an affirmative GIF to 21’s tweet that read, “I wanna drop an album so bad I just need the music.” The rapper then alluded to the producer’s recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, where he created a beat live, and wrote, “I see you making beats on podcasts can you send me some?” before Boomin replied, “Let’s run thru a quick 20 then.”
21 and Metro Boomin’s latest full-length joint project, Savage Mode II, is widely considered as the pair’s best album to date and was named one of HYPEBEAST’s Best Albums of 2020. The 15-track project featured narration from Morgan Freeman and appearances from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy and went on to debut at No. 1.
