The 2023 MLB postseason has arrived. Game 1 of all four Wild Card Series is on the schedule Tuesday. The Wild Card Series uses a best-of-three format with all three games played at the higher seed’s ballpark. Here is the postseason bracket and here is the postseason schedule. Needless to say, winning Game 1 of the Wild Card Series is of paramount importance. Here now are Tuesday’s games:

- Rangers at Rays (Jordan Montgomery vs. Tyler Glasnow) – 3:08 p.m. ET
- Blue Jays at Twins (Kevin Gausman vs. Pablo López) – 4:38 p.m. ET
- Diamondbacks at Brewers (Brandon Pfaadt vs. Corbin Burnes) – 7:08 p.m. ET
- Marlins at Phillies (Jesús Luzardo vs. Zack Wheeler) – 8:08 p.m. ET
The Rangers struck first in the first game of the day, putting up a run in the top of the second inning on a sacrifice fly, but Rays ace Tyler Glasnow was able to escape further trouble.
The Twins have lost a record 18 consecutive postseason games — their last postseason win was Game 1 of the 2004 ALDS — and the Blue Jays are 0-4 in the postseason in the Bo Bichette/Vladimir Guerrero Jr. era. One of those streaks will end Tuesday.
