Liverpool have reportedly made an enquiry for the Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
According to Calciomercato, several clubs are keen on the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder but the Italian club will only consider selling him for a massive offer.
Apparently, the player dreams of playing for Real Madrid but the Spanish outfit are not interested in signing him.
Liverpool are thought to be looking at a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum and their interest in Milinkovic-Savic certainly makes sense.
The 26-year-old has been an exceptional player for Lazio and he is undoubtedly one of the best box to box midfielders in Europe.
Liverpool need to add more goals and creativity to their midfield and the Serbian seems like an ideal fit for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
He will add drive and presence to the Reds’ midfield along with goals and assists. The Serbian will help out defensively as well.
The 26-year-old chipped in with eight goals and 11 assists across all competitions last season and he has the potential to improve further.
Working with a top-class manager like Jurgen Klopp could help the Serbian take his game on to another level.
He has already proven himself in the Italian league and the chance to showcase his talent in the Premier League could be tempting for him if the Reds come forward with a concrete offer.
