We’ve all heard the phrase “all dressed up and nowhere to go,” but this year the term has been given entirely new meaning. With restrictions on social gatherings and forced closures of pubs, bars and restaurants, we all literally have nowhere to go, though that certainly hasn’t stopped our favourite influencers and It girls from continuing to dress up. Between shimmering minidresses and floral embellished midis, influencers worldwide are persisting with putting on their finest even if it is simply to bake a cake, work from home or lounge on the couch.
A few weeks back, Who What Wear UK introduced Dress-Up Fridays, an initiative which encourages us all to put on something extra special to celebrate the conclusion of the week (and ensure we’re getting out of our activewear at least once every seven days). And with influencers constantly sharing images of themselves at home in bright, beautiful dresses, it couldn’t be easier to find inspiration to put on you Friday best.
